These Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale are important because they apply to any and all orders that you place with STEMBricks.co.uk. We strongly recommend that you read these Terms & Conditions in full before submitting your order to us.
1. General Information
1.1. Who am I placing my order with?
When you make a purchase from STEMBricks.co.uk, you are placing the order with Getech Limited (Company Registration no. 02436537), Solutions Centre, Knightsdale Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 4JQ.
Any reference to “we”, “us” or “our” means Getech Limited trading as STEMBricks.co.uk, and any reference to “you” or “your” means you as a customer.
These Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale only apply in cases of purchase by a consumer, which is a natural person acting for purposes which are outside his or her trade, business or profession.
STEMBricks.co.uk and Getech logos are the trademarks of Getech Limited.
1.2. Can I make a purchase through STEMBricks.co.uk if I am under 18 years old, or if I do not possess full legal capacity?
STEMBricks.co.uk does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18 years old, or if you do not possess full legal capacity, you may only use the STEMBricks.co.uk website and services under supervision and with the express consent of your parent or guardian.
1.3. How do I place an order on the STEMBricks.co.uk website?
You can select products and add them to your virtual shopping basket via the “Add to Basket” button. From your virtual shopping basket, you can amend quantities and remove products from your basket as required.
1.4. When am I entering into a contract with STEMBricks.co.uk?
You will be provided with the opportunity to review and correct your information prior to placing your order with us. By clicking the “Place Order” button you are making a binding offer to purchase the products that you have added to your virtual shopping basket.
Once you have ordered your products from the STEMBricks.co.uk shop, we will send you an automatic confirmation of receipt. This does not mean that the order has been accepted.
When you place an order with us you are making an offer to purchase. We will only enter into a contract for supplying the goods at the point at which the goods leave our premises.
1.5. Can we cancel your account, block your access to STEMBricks.co.uk, or reject or cancel your order?
We reserve the right to reject, hold, suspend or cancel any account or order that you place, or that you attempt to place with us, at our sole discretion. We want to make it possible for you (and as many others as possible) to use STEMBricks.co.uk to place orders, and as such we operate systems to minimise fraud and put rules in place to ensure that things are fair and to give everyone the chance to purchase products. We use fraud detection software to monitor STEMBricks.co.uk and may cancel your user account or reject or cancel orders without notice to you if we determine that your account has been used to make fraudulent orders or you have tried to avoid the systems we have put in place.
We also have rules about purchasing products, including purchase limits for products (which we may publish on STEMBricks.co.uk from time to time), and our offers like our free delivery. We may cancel your user account or reject or cancel orders without notice to you if we perceive that you are:
- Placing multiple orders, whether under the same or different registration details, for the purposes of circumventing purchase limits for products;
- Attempting to commit fraud or may commit fraud;
- Threatening the security of STEMBricks.co.uk or any other Getech website; or
- Otherwise breaching any rules about your use of the site or ordering products which we publish on STEMBricks.co.uk.
1.6. Can I refuse to agree to the Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale and still make a purchase?
No, you will only be able to place an order if you agree to these Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale by clicking the box “I agree to the Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale”. Contracts are concluded in the English language.
1.7. What if the product I want to order is not in stock?
We do not and cannot guarantee that all the ordered products are available in our inventory at all times.
We may make partial deliveries of products included in the same order when the products can be used separately. We will, of course, bear the additional shipping costs in such circumstances, and you will not be charged any extra costs as a result of a partial delivery.
We will inform you as quickly as possible if a product is not available or if it cannot be delivered on time. If the product will not be available for the foreseeable future, we reserve the right to not accept your order.
1.8. What if I want the products delivered to another address?
You can request delivery to an address other than your billing address. In this case, we will include the price and billing details with the physical product at delivery, and we will also confirm the pricing information to you along with your shipping confirmation email.
1.9. Should I save a copy of these Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale and other documents related to my order(s)?
We strongly recommend and encourage you to save a copy of these Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale, your online payment information and shipping confirmation email, in case you need to contact us with any questions about your order. The shipping confirmation email will include a copy of these Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale.
If you notice that any of the information emailed to you is incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can correct it for you.
2. Processing Personal Data
Except where explicitly opted into by you elsewhere (e.g. cookie consents, newsletter sign-up), we only collect, use, store and share the following data from you in connection with your order on STEMBricks.co.uk:

address; - Your payment details, as appropriate, and we will share those with your chosen payment provider as well as our payment processing partner. For more information, please refer to the “How Can I Pay?” section.
We will use, store and share your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will in regards to your order, use and share the personal information provided by you to:
- Fulfil and manage your order including sharing your personal information with our trusted third parties providing us with shipping and delivery services, fraud detection and prevention services and debt collection services;
- Provide you with support via Customer Service;

You can find details regarding data collection, use, storage, retention, deletion, automated decision making processes, who we share your data with and when, data review and updates of your personal data in our Privacy Policy.
3. Products & Pricing
3.1. Are taxes included in list prices?
Yes, the prices on our website are shown both without and inclusive of applicable taxes. We do not offer VAT refunds for orders placed online via STEMBricks.co.uk.
3.2. Are delivery charges included in pricing?
No, delivery costs are not included in the prices of products. Such costs will be added to your orders. The delivery costs, where applicable, will be shown in the virtual shopping basket and in the order review at the point of checkout, so you can clearly see these costs before placing your order.
3.3. What if the pricing on the website is incorrect?
We do our best to ensure that all pricing and information provided on our website is accurate. However, errors can sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of products you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling the order entirely. If we are unable to contact you or you do not reconfirm the order, we will treat the order as cancelled.
3.4. Does pricing listed in the STEMBricks.co.uk shop change?
Yes, all pricing provided in the STEMBricks.co.uk shop are subject to change without prior notice.
4. Payment & Payment Methods
4.1. Which credit cards can I use to pay?
We accept payment using Mastercard and Visa. Customers may also pay using Apple Pay and Google Pay if desired.
4.2. When will STEMBricks.co.uk charge the amount?
We will charge the amount for the items at the point of purchase and checkout.
4.3. Can I use PayPal for my order?
No, we do not currently accept payment by PayPal.
4.4. Can I pay by invoice?
No, you are not able to pay by invoice unless a separate agreement has been established, or under exceptional circumstances. However, we reserve the right to request pre-payment for any order placed with us.
If you are able to pay by invoice, you must transfer full payment for your order within 18 days after receipt of the products and invoice. Your order should, in most cases, arrive within 4 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Please contact Customer Service if you experience a delay in the receipt of either your order or your invoice.
If you do not make the payment within this period, you will be in breach of contract for delay of payments and we will be entitled to claim interest for delay amounting to 5 percentage points above the Basic Interest Rate, or the highest amount applicable by law, whichever is the lower. The items you have ordered will still legally remain our property until we have received full payment from you.
If we do not receive your payment in due time, we will send you a maximum of 3 reminders to pay your invoice before the debt is escalated for collection, which may negatively affect your credit rating. We reserve the right to add a reminder fee in accordance with applicable law for each of the reminders that we are required to send to you.
5. Delivery & Shipping
5.1. When can I expect to receive my orders?
Delivery times vary and depend on the address we are delivering orders to. Standard deliveries may take up to 3 business days, and may take an additional day to reach the following postal areas:
Aberdeen, Isle of Man, Inverness, Kilmarnock, Kirkwall, Lerwick, Outer Hebrides, Paisley & Perth.
You can monitor your orders and their respective delivery information from your account on STEMBricks.co.uk.
5.2. Will I be charged for delivery costs?
No, we do not charge you for the delivery of products you have ordered through our website. All deliveries within the UK and Ireland are free of charge, and free delivery will apply to your order automatically if eligible.
5.3. How will STEMBricks.co.uk help me if I am missing a part of a set I’ve purchased?
If your new product is missing parts or has faulty parts, we will help you to replace these parts free of charge. In such cases, please feel free to contact a member of our Customer Service team; if you have purchased a LEGO® Education product which contains faulty parts, or where your purchase is missing parts, you can also refer to the official LEGO® replacement service.
STEMBricks.co.uk provides no warranty or guarantee in relation to services provided by LEGO® or its affiliates, who reserve the right to change the availability of the service at any time without prior notice to you or STEMBricks.co.uk.
6. Order Cancellation & Right to Withdraw
6.1. Your 14-day Statutory Right to Withdraw:
You can change your mind and withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receipt of your product (as specified below). You do not have to provide us with a reason for changing your mind.
The only exceptions to this statutory right to withdraw are:
- Sealed audio or sealed video recordings, or sealed computer software once they have been unsealed after you have received them. This includes but is not limited to video games and DVD media;
- Digital products and services (for example, e-learning modules and downloadable content);
- Products that have been specially made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
- Items which have been marked as “final sale” or “non-returnable” at the time of purchase; and
- Subject to statutory law, gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
The above does not apply to or limit your statutory legal rights in case of your product being defective/faulty or not as described. For such non-conforming products, please see below for the section entitled “What if my product is defective/non-conforming?”
6.2. In what condition should I return the products?
You are liable for the reduction in value of the products resulting from the handling of the products other than necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products. STEMBricks.co.uk will inspect all products upon return; as such, please ensure that products are returned in their entirety and in their original packaging.
This means that your refund in the event of withdrawal is reduced proportionately with the reduced value other than necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and function of the products. You should be aware that the value will be reduced significantly if you open the packaging and any sub-packaging within, which will result in a smaller refund if you want to exercise your right of withdrawal. The same will apply if you do not return the entire product, but only parts of it.
6.3. When does my 14-day statutory withdrawal period begin?
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party appointed by you (other than the carrier) acquires, physical possession of the products.
If you have ordered multiple products on a single order and the products are delivered separately, the withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of physical possession of the last product.
You should be aware that your right of withdrawal applies only to all items relating to each product. Accordingly, you cannot withdraw from the purchase of certain components within a product, but only the product as a whole. To meet the withdrawal deadline of 14 days, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of withdrawal to us before the withdrawal period has expired.
6.4. How do I exercise the right to change my mind?
You can do this by sending us a clear statement of your withdrawal by either:
- Submitting notice via STEMBricks.co.uk;
- Sending us a letter; or
- Sending us an email.
You’ll also be able to cancel your order until it reaches the ‘Awaiting Dispatch’ status. To find out where your order is in its journey you can check your account page.
6.5. What happens when I change my mind and wish to use my statutory right to withdraw from the contract?
If you withdraw from this contract within the 14 days statutory right to withdraw period, we will refund any sums paid by you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We will make the refund as quickly as possible and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the products or you have supplied evidence of having sent the products back, whichever is the earlier.
We will carry out such a refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
You must send the products unopened and in original condition to the return address provided on the package, and the returned products must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorisation Number (RMA Number), which is set out on a Return Label. To receive an RMA Number please contact our Customer Service team.
If you return the products without the Return Label and RMA Number, please allow for additional processing time.
7. Defective & Non-Conforming Products
We hold a legal duty to supply products that conform to the agreed terms of this contract. Nothing in these Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale will affect your statutory rights.
Throughout the anticipated lifespan of your purchased product your legal rights entitle you to:
- Up to 30 days: if your goods are faulty, then you are entitled to get an immediate refund.
- Up to six months: if your goods can’t be repaired or replaced, then you’re entitled to a full refund, in most cases. Please note, that we are entitled to choose to replace or refund your product, if the cost of repair is disproportional compared to a refund or replacement, or if repair is impossible.
- After six months: if your goods do not last a reasonable length of time you may be entitled to bring a claim against us in small claims court for up to six years from your purchase. This does not mean that your purchased product has to last for six years – only that you have this length of time in which to make a claim if we refuse to repair or replace a faulty product.
Please keep any faulty or broken items until you have received your refund or replacement from us. This is important, since we may ask you to return the faulty or broken piece to us for inspection; it’s vital for us to make sure that the error does not occur again. If we ask you to return something to us, we will pay your shipping fees either upfront or as soon as you have sent us the receipt for the cost of postage, depending on local circumstances.
7.1. What should I do if I have a defective product?
If your product is defective upon delivery or during your statutory period of conformity (see above), please contact our Customer Service by any of the means indicated below.
Upon contacting Customer Services, please have your order number available to help us identify your order.
In cases where a refund is payable: We will make the refund as quickly as possible and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your defective product.
However, please be advised that we may withhold the refund until such a time that we have received the products or you have supplied evidence of having returned the product to us, whichever is the earlier (See “How do I return products?” below).
We will carry out such a refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
In cases where a replacement is due: In case of a replacement we will ship a new product to you with delivery in accordance with the delivery times that follow from these Consumer Terms & Conditions of Sale. If the product is out of stock (permanently or temporarily) we will discuss your refund options with you.
In case of a repair: Due to the nature of our products, in most cases the cost associated with repair would not be proportional with the costs associated with a refund or a replacement. As such, we assess all requests for repair on a case-by-case basis. Please contact a member of our Customer Service team to discuss further.
7.2. How do I return products?
We will provide you with a return address and a Return Merchandise Authorisation Number (RMA Number), which is set out on a Return label. To receive a Return label and a RMA Number, please contact our Customer Service team.
If you are returning products without the Return label or a RMA Number, please allow for additional time
processing your return.
We will pay the delivery costs of your returning a defective product with the exception of any supplementary costs resulting from your choice or preference of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us.
How to contact us in case of a defective product: You can contact us by email, by post, or by telephone.

The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. We make every effort to accurately portray the items on our website; however, slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colour components is as accurate as photographic and publication processes will enable. Please note that there may be variations in colour dependent on the calibration and settings of individual screens. In such cases, we will correct the error so that the information that applies to the product will be the new, corrected information.

Any dispute regarding a purchase in the STEMBricks.co.uk website shop will be subject to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the English & Welsh courts. As you are contracting as a consumer, this will not affect your statutory rights.
